Deadline Set For Final 1974 Estimated Tax Payment
Dallas district IRS head Ellis Campbell Jr urged North Texas taxpayers to pay the final quarterly estimate of the 1974 federal income tax by Monday. He noted those whose 1971 estimated and self employment tax exceeded withholding by forty dollars or more should file Form 1040-FS and follow its instructions. Changes in 1971 income or new exemptions after September may affect filings.
