Greer to lead Ghana mission trip from Dallas
Eugene Greer pastor of Quitman Street Church of Christ will depart Love Field in Dallas on Tuesday January 960n for a three week mission in Ghana. He joins 44 pastors to work with native ministers and students, conduct preaching missions, and lecture at one of three Church of Christ colleges in Accra. He plans to return in early February. this is his second Ghana trip, following a 1972 JanuaryFebruary visit.

Seymour Troxel Dies Saturday in Local Hospital
Seymour E. Troxel, 78, died shortly after noon Saturday in a local hospital. Funeral services are pending with Malcolm Stone Funeral Home. He is survived by one son Sam Troxel of Gladewater, two daughters Helen Humphries of Gladewater and Ruby Wood of Huntsville, twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two sisters.

Tyler State College invites the public and prospective students to an open house Monday at the 100 East Berta temporary campus. Dr. James H. Stewart Jr. notes renovations include new boilers, over one million BTUs of window AC, upgraded desks and lighting, and a converted Student Center cafeteria with vending. Health Resources Council offers 3 credit courses in ETSU program
The Health Resources Council sponsors a pilot series of four two day workshops at the Holiday Inn in Mt. Pleasant beginning January. East Texas State University will award three academic credit hours for attendance at at least four of five workshops. Courses cover Nutrition and Diet Therapy Obstetrics Pediatrics Gerontology and Infection Control with sessions led by ETSU faculty and UT Galveston staff.
