Kay Tipps Rites Set After 61 Year Life in Gladewater

Funeral services for Kathryn Marie Kay Tipps 61 will be held Saturday at 2 PM in Malcolm Stone Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dennis Barnes officiating. Interment at Rosedale Cemetery. Tipps, a former Gladewater police dispatcher, died Thursday at East Texas Chest Hospital Tyler after a long illness. Survivors include three brothers Sam Tipps Steve Tipps and R B Tipps. one sister Jessie Harrison. Pallbearers are police department members. honorary pallbearers are Ladies Auxiliary.
