N E Jackson Dies at 70 in Gladewater Rites Saturday
Neal E. Jackson 70 a Gladewater resident since 1914 died Wednesday night in a local hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Malcolm Stone Funeral Chapel with Hayes Reneau officiating. Burial followed in Rosedale Cemetery. He was born February 14 1900 in Florence Texas and was a machinist welder. He served in the US Marines and belonged to N Main Church of Christ. Survived by Lena his wife two sisters Lola Jackson of New York and Thelma Hendricks of Durant Oklahoma two brothers Clyde Jackson Irving and James Lewis Jackson Fort Worth one niece and three nephews pallbearers listed.
