Longview chapter honors three Gregg County figures at annual Headliner Awards

Richard Johnson Aims for Regional PPK Title
Ten year old Richard Johnson of Gladewater, a three year PPK veteran, will compete Sunday for the regional title at halftime of the Dallas Cowboys versus Washington Redskins game. If he wins, he advances toward the national finals during the Houston Super Bowl. Sponsored by the NFL and Ford, the event draws eight to thirteen year olds with local sponsors Davidson Ford Sales and the Gladewater Kiwanis Club.
