Police investigated a burglary discovered Sunday about 7 40 p m at the home of Mrs H H Pool 1035 Chevy Chase with items valued at about 3500 including poetry valuable linens a TV set and other valuables The break in was found by Max Wakeland who lives nearby Mrs Pool was not home Saturday evening entrance gained by forcing open a patio door Officers Sgt Ken Garriott and Officers Charles Livingston and Lynn Atwood assisted in the inquiry.

Trial date reset for Faulder in capital murder case
Joseph Stanley Faulder, 39, charged in the bludgeon death of 75 year old Inez Phillips on July 8, 1975, will face trial in 188th District Court on Oct. 3, Judge Marcus Vascocu presiding. Faulder is held without bond. attorney Bernard G. Solomon represents him. Two co defendants, James Millard Moulton and Lynda Ziegler McCann, also charged, have not set trial dates. McCann is charged with capital murder and burglary counts. Moulton faces burglary and conspiracy charges and is held on $100,000 bonds.

Water Main Break Deluges Town Halting Water Supply
A 12 inch water main from the filtration plant broke Sunday afternoon after heavy rain. The break, crossing a creek, caused hours of disruption from the east side of the lake to Clarksville City and toward Metba. City manager Tony Williams cited the downpour as the cause and police stations received many calls. More than half the town lacked water during the outage.
