Funeral services for Mrs Ethel Dennis Smith of Tyler were held Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the Burks Walker Tippet chapel. She died Saturday in Tyler Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Burial was in Tyler Memorial Park. Rev J McClenny and Rev Jack Williams officiated. She is survived by her husband Ben L Smith two sons J B Pat Casey and Bennie Harrold Smith all of Tyler one daughter Melba Smith Slater of Austin four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Dennis Richardson Craig Little Harry Lee Garney Homer Campbell James Tomlinson Jake Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Edgar Shelton J D Majors Bill Babb T O G Howard Carl Hancock Marshall Freeman Homer Carr and Kenneth Little.
