Labor Day Tale of Airborne Tricks and Fearful Encounters
A first person narrator recalls a bizarre Labor Day incident with air born contraptions and a vivid sense of danger. The tale weaves memories of a fearless figure called Mister Hayseed and a mythic Black person resisting a springboard like a harness. The scene shifts to a distant mountain view and a danger-filled chase ending with a comparison between a Black person and a raccoon.
