Cleveland Ohio May 23 Andrew Brown twenty years old machinist was decapitated while looking from a street car. A passing car struck him on an opposite track and dragged his body along the car before dropping the headless corpse on the platform. Walter Kelly fifteen white and Henry Brown eighteen negro drowned in a pond near Hepzib Bay Georgia. Kelly rushed to aid Brown after hearing his call for help and both men sank as Brown fought to stay afloat. Kelly, son of a prominent farmer, perished in the effort.
