Georgetown to join regional league for pennant hope

A letter from Charleston proposes Georgetown join a league with Sumter Florence and Charleston. An initial investment of 500 dollars and salary limit of 600 dollars are suggested. If formed, Georgetown aims to show rival cities their prowess in pennant races, with baseball enthusiasm in summer.

Camorrist Chief Triggers Adjournment in Italian Trial

In Viterbo on May 11 Alfano, rival head of the Camorra, caused a courtroom frenzy during the trial.
