Comet Blamed for Unstable Spring Weather and Sailor Confusion
Weather anomalies blamed on a newly detected comet by Edwin F. Naulty and Dr. Brook of Hobart College. They predict a July transit will restore normal weather and warn compasses misbehave as the comet's near North Pole gyrations push cold air south. Tornado in Dallas illustrates its impact, with danger zones extending from Galveston to St. John. Also notices a timetable change for the Steamer Mitchell C departing Georgetown at 6 o'clock starting June 8.
