Orangeburg Times and Democrat reports a new hog breed called mulefoot rising in Orangeburg County. Originating from Indiana and linked to Sheriff J H Dukes, the hogs feature mule-like feet, are disease resistant to hog cholera, prolific breeders, and reportedly meatier. Farmers praise their hardiness and profitability as they mature quickly and follow feed efficiently.
