A visiting colored preacher claimed to be 22 and a lifelong minister who began preaching at nine after asking his mother for a Bible at eight weeks. He said he was born with a full set of teeth and displayed them with gold caps, though it is unclear if these caps matched those at birth. The story notes he had no formal schooling and learned by intuition.
