Plantersville Couple Travels to Sumter in Frugal REO Trip
Capt. J Louis LaBruce and wife with five children drove from Plantersville to Sumter South Carolina last Saturday in an REO car. He reported excellent roads to Black Mingo and Indiantown Church then worsening through Lake City and Mayesville before reaching Sumter at 445 PM. Return Monday morning sped through Kingstree and Rome with only 235 in gas for 195 miles. The tale highlights good tobacco crops and his satisfaction with the trip and new REO.
