The South Carolina Drainage Association organized in Charleston at the Chamber of Commerce rooms seeks to reclaim wetlands in the state. Nelson North of Sheridan Michigan died in this city at 8:30 am yesterday at the home of Mr and Mrs George E Mallory on St James street aged 79 after a paralysis stroke three weeks ago He was the father of Mrs Mallory and had come to spend the winter with them His remains were taken to Michigan this afternoon Mr and Mrs Mallory accompanied them The deceased was noted for excellent habits strong morals and sturdy constitution and his sunny disposition aided his lifelong work The Mallory family expresses the deepest sympathy of local citizens
