Arbitration set after Geneseo Henry County phone dispute
City attorney Henry Waterman helps broker agreements between Geneseo Exchange and Henry County Telephone Co. and a board of arbitration to settle differences. In the interim service will be restored between Geneseo and the Henry County exchanges. Also a concert is announced at the Annawan Opera House on Tuesday September 17 featuring Gus L. Miller and Geneseo soloists, with a lengthy program of solos and ensembles.

Old Soldiers Reunion in Geneseo Next Week
Next week marks the fiftieth anniversary of the mustering of the 112th Illinois Volunteer Infantry and the forty-seventh reunion of the regiment to be held in Geneseo on Friday and Saturday September 20 and 21. Weather permitting the day meeting will be at the city park. otherwise the Weimer opera house will host the program. The campfire occurs at Weimer's theater Friday evening. Citizens and business men are raising a fund to ensure proper entertainment for veterans and friends. Spanish-American War veterans are invited to join.
