Olof Anderson's Suicide by Freight Train Near Soldier's Home
An inmate of cottage No 4 at the soldier's home, 59 years old, Olof Anderson, killed himself by lying in front of a Burlington freight engine near the home. He sustained a skull fracture and died at 2:30 PM after being moved to the home station and hospital. The coroner's inquest returned a verdict consistent with the described act.
