Kewanee to Host Teachers Institute and County Fair
The Heary County Teachers Institute will meet in Kewanee in August with instructors from Grinnell Milwaukee Western Normal and Galva. Thrashing continues with oats yielding 25 to 42 bushels per acre across local farms. The Remy County Agricultural Board may skip a fair this year, while the Kewanee district fair opens September 11 for competitors from several counties.
