China Expert to Talk to Kiwanis
The Geauga County Kiwanis Club hosts the Rotary Club of Burton at Town Hall Claridon on Thursday evening October 18. Guest speaker Manly C. Jensen, new to Geauga, spent twenty five years in China Mongolia and Korea ending in 1941. He returned to China briefly to retrieve possessions and left before the crisis. Jensen formerly led Shangai Rotary and was past president of Rotary at Ouray Colorado. In 1933 he moved to Washington DC where the Masons honored him with the 33rd degree for his work in China with the Order of the Eastern Star.
