Ordinance 208 lists intersections where vehicular traffic must stop and sets penalties for violations. It preserves authority of police officers at intersections and establishes fines for first, second, and subsequent offenses within one year. Effective after legal period.
The notice states an ordinance amending and supplementing Section 17 of Ordinance No. 176. It outlines changes to the legal framework and summarizes the intended scope and impact of the update. The document serves to inform residents of the updated rules and enforcement parameters.
The village amends Ordinance 176 to restrict street parking on Court and South Street. Limits include South side of Court from Main to Washington, plus 200 feet west of Main on Court and 300 feet on South Street from South Park Street. Emergency measure for immediate public safety, effective on first publication. Passed May 5, 2025. Mayor DPD Muchmore.
