Jennie Warner Funeral to Be Held in Chardon
Funeral services for 95 year old Jennie Warner known as Chardon’s grand old lady of music will be held at Burr Funeral Home in Chardon. Warner taught piano for 62 years and mentored hundreds of students including her daughter Alta Jane Charter who died in 1903. She died Tuesday in Claridon township and lived at 224 S Hambden St with no survivors.

Record attendance at the Geauga Maple Festival overwhelmed parking and traffic as thousands failed to enter. Syrup sales slid to about 7000 dollars, with demand for smaller packages.
