Passing of Willis Hardman
Willis Hardman died Wednesday morning at L D S Hospital Salt Lake after an appendicitis operation performed by O S S L Ry musicians. Remains were taken to Mendon for burial with funeral services held there. many relatives and local residents attended. He was a respected section foreman on the Malad Valley branch, married with a young daughter surviving.

Sudden Death of Wm. D. Price cattleman of Samaria
William D. Price of Samaria Idaho known as Billy Price the cattleman died at the Owens Hotel in this city Wednesday afternoon around 4 o clock after a coughing spell and lung hemorrhage. He leaves a wife and five daughters and his body was sent to Samaria for burial with funeral at 2 p m today. Price, a native of Wales, was a long time cattle dealer respected for his character.

Collision on Salt Lake Route Kills One Injures Many
A collision on the Salt Lake route near Boulder on Wednesday left one man dead seven seriously injured and seven more slightly injured. Engineer John W. Leavitt, son of J. Q. Leavitt of this city, suffered a broken hip internal injuries and scalding. Mr. and Mrs. J. Q. Leavitt went to Salt Lake yesterday morning.

Owens Undergoes Surgery for Gastric Abscess
J P Owens, Salt Lake City, was operated on Sunday at Holy Cross hospital by Drs Osmer, Schneider and Tindel to remove an abscess near the stomach from an ulcer. Mrs Owens reports his condition improving and a possible second operation to remove the stomach ulcer.

Eri H Harriman noted railroad organizer died at his Arden New York residence on Wednesday afternoon September 9. Brigham visitor F D Welling and J W Lewis traveled to Brigham on business. J W Lewis and spouse returned from a week visiting Ogden Plain City Syracuse Salt Lake Brigham Farmington. Ursel Rose and spouse returned from the Alaska Yukon Exposition in Seattle after an 18 day round trip via Boise and San Francisco.
