Infant Orgile Died of Bowels’ Inflammation in Racine
The 17 month old baby boy of Mr and Mrs Joseph Orgile died Wednesday afternoon in Racine from inflammation of the bowels. Funeral services were held at the ward hall yesterday at 2 pm. The family is destitute and a subscription is being circulated to cover funeral expenses. Mr Orgile left for Ogden or Salt Lake to find work and could not be located at press time.

Child Burned by Carbolic Acid at Clayton Home
Edna Clayton, daughter of Mr and Mrs Will Clayton of the Clayton House, was severely burned last Sunday after she spilled carbolic acid from bottles on a shelf. Mrs Clayton rushed her to a drug store for soothing remedy. Dr Fraocke and Dr Dunn attended. the child is recovering.

Section Foreman Hurt In Workplace Accident
Sunday morning Section Foreman J. W. Hancock suffered severe bruises after a tool toppled on a hand-cut car, pinning him to the track. He remained bedridden for much of the week while workers carried on. Reports indicated he was improving and no one else was injured.
