Born in Lancaster Pennsylvania she moved to Utah with her first husband Eli Pierce and later married Willis Boothe. Funeral set for 2 p m at the stake tabernacle Brigham City. B M and P Co store closes as mark of respect.

Death of Bishop Martin M Jensen in Mantua
Bishop Martin M Jensen, about 52, died last Monday after a four month cancer battle. He served Mantua ward, married Lena Jensen at 25, went on a Scandinavian mission, taught school, and was county assessor. He leaves a wife and nine children and was mourned at Mantua meeting house. Funeral in Mantua cemetery with many relatives present. He was born December 8, 1858 in Iowa during family migration to Utah.

Will Re-Examine Box Elder Lands
An order from Washington temporarily withdraws nearly 300000 acres in Box Elder county from entry under the Smoot act pending re examination. Affects lands between Lucia and Grouse Creek near Rosette and Park Valley including areas in the first designation. Filings on much of the territory remain, and withdrawals cover twenty seven townships.

Crippen Hanged at Pentonville Prison Yard
The Crippen case ends as Dr Kicoo Hawley Crippen is executed for the murder of Belle Elmore. The condemned man was hanged in the Pentonville prison yard at 9 02 Wednesday morning. November 23.
