Garland Commercial Club Meetings Discuss Rail Service and 1908 Base Hall
The Garland Commercial Club met March 18 to urge Oregon Short Line Railroad to improve passenger service and connect Garland with a train to Harshaw and the Cache Valley line. A three member committee was appointed to coordinate base ball plans for 1908 with Garland Athletic Association. The secretary was tasked with soliciting courteous exchanges with other state clubs. Bills were approved and the meeting adjourned for one month.

Religion Class Convention in Garland Meeting House
A Garland district religion class convention met Sunday March 10 at 2 p.m. presided by C. W. Snow. Visitors from Elwood Dewer ville Heaver Dam and Garland attended. several western districts were quarantined and not represented. Town Board Discusses Taxes and Marshal Wages
