Garland Cafe Sold. Zitaman Moves Bakery to Old Stand

New Cashier for Bank in Garland Hire

Garland Commercial Club Meeting Admits New Members

Japanese laborers in cutting affray injure hand
Last week two Japanese workers Extamura and Harry Tanaka quarrelled and fought. One drew a knife, severing the other man's hand to avert the strike. Both men fled to Ogden and have not been heard from since.

Team Runs Away From Rig Near Tremont Stop
At 2 p m Sunday a team attached to a rig driven by George Carter galloped into town from Tremont and was halted by Charles Ault in front of W A Nay's store. The team ran along the road, frightened, until reaching town. No damage occurred and Carter found the team tied in front of the Pearl Saloon. He said it was the first time they ever ran away, a surprise to him.
