Work on the main sewer from the O S L track to the Sugar Company silo will near completion by tonight. Depth reaches 11 feet at the silo, with 8 inch pipe and 4 inch tile for surface water, plus large manholes and a flush tank at the head.
Building notes show several residences nearing completion including L. J. Samson R. L. Bush G. S. Mowry and B. H. Phelps while Sept T. H. Edwards new home advances. Jensen Bros Oscar Harris and Barber H. F. Miller are adding or finishing structures. C N Christensen of Salt Lake oversees Clubhouse remodeling with a $38 000 addition and site changes. H C Featherstone manages brick work with J R Layton supervising wood work.
The Snook town fight erupts as two of the sewer crowd clash. Marshal T. L. Snook chases one out of town after a night firing two shots in the air. The other jailed until sobering up. Several troublemakers roam the hills, and a peddler is jailed and fined for selling without a license before redeeming a watch as security.
The Lehi Banner notes the Garland Globe introduces several changes this week. Readers are urged to follow the Globe as improvements and new features roll out.
Under the Y M L A Stake Board auspice a flower party was held at Garland hall last night. The event was well attended and a grand success with ladies in flower decorations and punch praised. Prize winners were not learned and will be announced in the next issue.
The Bear River Stake held its quarterly conference on July 10 and 11 with attendance from stake presidency Milton H. Welling and Oleen N. Stohl of Box Elder Stake among others. Elders Geo F Richards and Anthony W Ivins of the twelve apostles attended along with high council members, bishops, and Y M M I A and Y L M L A officers. Meetings covered High Priest and Seventies quorum sessions, Sunday schools, testimonies, and sermons on temperance and gospel unity. Attendance reached about 670 at Sunday sessions.

Garland Milling Co in Garland Utah offers a carload of wheat oat and barley sacks at bargain prices. R G Michaelis manager invites customers to inspect and buy, promising cheaper sacks than any other seller in the state. tf
The Board of Education of the Box Elder School District offers land Lot 1 Block 7 Honeyville Townsite plus a 20 by 40 foot rock building and one acre with water rights from Beaver Dam Creek. Bids due July 15 1900 at 16:00. right to reject any bids reserved. Water system will remain subject to a perpetual right to have water for school use delivered free from Snowville.
