Garland Town Board Holds April Session
The Garland Town Board met in regular session on Tuesday evening April 19. Actions include approving repairs for Matthew McMurtrie’s fence at the city park and authorizing publication of a town ordinance to keep fowls confined. A tile drain on Factory street was referred to City Engineer J C Wheelon. Trustees Secrist and Capener were named to study installing a watering trough and drinking fountain on Main street. The meeting adjourned to the first Tuesday in May.
