GCCC Adopts Health Care Ed Upgrades on Campus

Garden City Community College advances a three phase renovation to the Penka and Warren House buildings to expand health care education. The project includes a 60 by 115 foot wing in memory of Miss Corley funded by a $500,000 trust gift and multiple funding sources. Continuous improvements aim to boost nursing allied health labs classrooms and ADA access as SW Kansas trains more health care professionals.

GCCC honors staff for long service across multiple years

Garden City Community College awarded longevity honors to staff reaching five, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 40 years of service in the 2008 09 academic year.
