Senate race in Kansas tightens as ads flood final week
The Kansas US Senate contest between incumbent Pat Roberts and independent Greg Orman is tied as out-of-state spending nears record levels. Analysts say the race remains highly volatile with undecided voters in play and both camps intensifying negative messaging ahead of Election Day. Roberts supporters lead in outside spending two to one, with total race spending possibly hitting 15 million dollars. Orman campaigns stress anti‑establishment critique while Roberts campaigns focus on portraying Orman as a liberal Democrat.
