Garden City considers STAR bond district and dairy plant access
City Manager Matt Allen spoke at a Chamber breakfast about the STAR bond district for Sporting Kansas City tied to a 312 acre zone from Tangeman Sports Complex to Schulman Crossing. He cited roughly 25 million needed in financing and outlined access plans for Meadowlark Dairy Nutrition’s 235 million plant on U S 83 with possible east entry and a 1.475 million intersection upgrade funded by a trafficway bond.
