Alatorre leads Garden City in 4 1 win over Kansas City
Maria Paula Alatorre scored twice for Garden City Community College as the Lady Busters beat Kansas City Kansas 4 1 at Broadcaster Stadium. Freshman forward Alatorre helped carry a hurt opponent off the field and extended GC3s lead with a second half goal, while Sandra Mendoza and Guadalupe Cordova added goals in a 3 1 first half surge. The win improves GC3s record to 7 9 1 and 3 7 in KJCCC play, with a tough upcoming game against undefeated Hutchinson.
