Thomas Arturo Lara Jr 23 of Odessa Texas arrested at 8 40 a m on allegations of intimidation of a witness domestic battery criminal threat and kidnapping. Adrian Centeno 19 of Cimarron arrested at 2 15 p m on transporting an open container and driving without a valid license. Dustin Dean Barker 23 of Holcomb arrested at 1 38 a m on operating a motor vehicle without a license no proof of insurance and DUI. Vanessa Ann Olivarez 37 of Mansfield Road arrested at 3 p m on theft and probation violation. Javier Anthonio Gordon 22 of W Jones Ave arrested at 6 45 p m on a municipal bench warrant.

An 11-year-old Garden City boy was treated and released after a motor vehicle pedestrian collision at Sixth Street and Kansas Avenue Thursday afternoon. Shon Estes, 26, of Garden City, was driving a 2000 Ford Explorer westbound. the boy ran into the path of the car and was treated on scene and transported to St. Catherine Hospital. The driver was uninjured.
The Telegram clarifies Ray Kennedy's obituary by stating Harry Beauleau of Lakin assisted with the memorial service, correcting previous wording that named Chapel of the Roses Mortuary in Lakin as organizer. Beauleau formerly operated the funeral home, which is no longer in business, making the corrected reference necessary.
