Three Men Charged in Plot Against Muslim Housing in Garden City
The U S Attorney’s Office revealed a months long probe into the Crusaders militia planning to bomb a Garden City apartment complex at 312 W Mary St home to Muslims and a mosque. Curtis Allen Gavin Wright and Patrick Stein, all of Liberal and Wright respectively, face conspiring to use a weapon of mass destruction. FBI and prosecutors described the group’s anti government and anti Muslim beliefs and noted others may be involved. The case remains under active investigation with potential uncharged suspects.
