Grounded in Ministry for Tupelo Graduate
Chris McAlilly, a Tupelo High graduate, earns a Master of Divinity from Emory and will be commissioned as a provisional member of the Mississippi United Methodist Church. He will pastor a two-point charge in Brewer and Shannon. The field shows a clerical surplus and shifting roles, with denominations seeking volunteer and laity leadership and Mississippi Conference prioritizing placing young clergy.
