Garden City Wind open 2017 season with new manager
Garden City Wind begin the Pecos League season at Clint Lightner Stadium led by first year manager David Peterson, a Wind alumnus. The club aims to improve on 2016 when it won the North Division but fell in the first postseason round to Trinidad. Peterson and GM Marcus Sabata emphasize building a championship tradition with a mix of returning players Joey Cecere and Eli Roundtree joining several rookies and Pecos veterans.
