Postponed Jann Miles was among nine Kansas State college girls entertained by Mrs. Fred Hall at the Executive Mansion on Tuesday. A luncheon honored ne Pankratz, cousin of the governor's wife. Jane is from Chanute. kmn is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. seen Miles, 107 West Walnut. The group included kindergarteners from Friend school and their teachers. Bob Shelton, Chamber of Commerce manager, left for North Platte to attend a two day spring workshop and a US Highway 83 association meeting. Two KU students won honors at Southwestern College this year. May 1955 high school grads from Arden City plan to enroll at Southwestern College. Montgomery and Joha Montgomery are students involved in ROTC and awards. WICHITA cattle and hog markets listed with mixed changes.
