KU student endures cancer without insurance
Tracie Revis, a Kansas University law student and Oklahoma native, fought Hodgkin lymphoma without insurance for years. She relied on Indian Health Service, faced delays and denials, accrued 150000 to 200000 dollars in medical debt, and continued schooling during treatment. Now in remission, she prepares for a U S congressional internship while advocating for health care reform.
