Garden City okays infrastructure for Northborough subdivision
Garden City commissioners unanimously approved about 834000 dollars in sewer water street and electrical projects to support the Northborough subdivision north of Valley View Cemetery between Third and Eighth streets. The 45 acre site will host 41 dwelling units in 36 lots with single family homes mainly for upper middle class buyers and a row of duplexes planned north of the cemetery. Developer James R. Cornett said units will include single family homes and duplexes. The city cited standard infrastructure costs and rapid action to move housing forward.
