Prieto signs with South Dakota State Jackrabbits wrestling team
Michael Prieto, a four-time champion and 162-10 career wrestler, chose SDSU over Oklahoma after a strong signing from Jackrabbits coach Chris Bono. Prieto, who wrestled at 138 pounds this season, will red shirt his freshman year to gain strength and adjust academically, aiming to compete at 141 and later 149 pounds. SDSU views him as a key addition to bolster its Big 12 wrestling program and recruit momentum.
