Greeley County schools face budget gaps as enrollment falls from 320 in 1998 to a projected 263 in 2005. A four day week could save at least 35,000 on buses substitutes and cooking. Parents and staff debated effects on learning and child care, with administrators noting positives in other districts but concerns about longer days and community impact.
