Garden City airport security room upgrade underway
Expansion of the Garden City Regional Airport security room, a nearly 170000 dollar city funded project, began in late May on the north side of the current TSA screening area. The 690 square foot space now houses most equipment, leaving limited seating for travelers and crowding concerns for the airport serving more than 10000 passengers annually.
