Fire raged for six hours across downtown Oklahoma City damaging two three story structures and a department store front while insurance estimates reached up to 500000 to 750000. In Ely Nevada two gambling clubs and three cafes burned with losses placed between 500000 and 750000. the Capitol and Alpine clubs lost currency. The Pitt Schools of Health & Professions building fire in Pittsburgh caused multiple explosions and evacuated 225 Presbyterian Hospital patients with the structure losing 10 stories of planking and rapid flames.
