Wheat Harvest Stages Vary Across Kansas Co-ops
Farmers report uneven harvest as drought and hail cut yields. Bozone expects ten bushels per acre on dryland wheat, contrasting last year's 60. State totals show Greeley leading with 8.8 million bushels, Scott third with 7.9, Wichita fifth at 7.7. Co-ops tally early yields, test weights near 58-62 pounds, moisture around 8-14 percent.
