GCRC revives Spanish Movie Sundays at State Theatre
The Garden City Recreation Commission brings back Spanish language films on Sunday nights at the State Theatre, the fourth Sunday each month at 7 p.m. Tickets are 3 dollars. Kansas will increase the speed limit to 75 mph July 1 on 807 miles of rural freeways including I 70 I 1 185 I 35 US 81 US 69 and the Kansas Turnpike. A KDOT task force and the Kansas Turnpike Authority approved the plan based on traffic volumes crash history and road geometry. Aluminum overlays will replace 70 mph signs starting soon, with full legal speed on July 1.
