Native American memorial dedicated at Valley View Cemetery
Logan Coghill led a Saturday dedication at Valley View Cemetery for a Native American memorial honoring 13 young men who died in the 1918 1920 influenza epidemic while working in Finney County sugar beet fields. The Eagle Scout project included stone engraving, plantings, and support from Price and Sons Funeral Home Western Kansas Community Foundation and the Finney County Historical Society.
