Garden City man accused of threatening Samy’s security and police
A 46-year-old Garden City man, Mark Schiffelbein of 1405 Chestnut St., was arrested Sunday after allegedly threatening Samy’s Spirits and Steak House security and later police. Officers pursued him after he fled in the Lamy’s parking lot and saw a motion as if pulling a weapon. He was caught after a brief struggle and faces aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, interference with an officer, and criminal threats.
