Stop Extensions On Contracts Conservation Reserve
Conservation Reserve contracts expiring in 1980 or later cannot be extended for extra years. Previously five year or less contracts could be extended up to ten years with ASC committee filing before expiration. An exception exists for tree-planting contracts without available seedlings, which must be extended one year per year seedlings unavailable.
