Valley View Cemetery Beauty Spot Highlighted
Memorial Day ceremonies at Valley View Cemetery are aided by two focal monuments: the Wilson Singing Tower and a Civil War memorial. Built in 1951 and dedicated in 1951, the four square tower with hymn record library stands near the old cemetery. The nearby granite obelisk memorial honors veterans and has drawn praise as a local landmark amid growing North End development. Expansion plans from 1945 extend south from the old cemetery, with underground watering systems and new drives reshaping the site.
