Nazarenes Report Big Gains in Membership and Finances
The Church of the Nazarene announced large 1950s gains in membership and finances at the 15th quadrennial general assembly in Kansas City. Domestic membership rose by 86,813 to 311,800. churches reached 4,696. church property value grew from 65 million to about 200 million. Per capita giving rose from 104 to 135. total contributions near 42 million. Four-year world program support totaled 14,648,245 with Sunday school enrollment up to 700,500 and missionary society rising to 173,825.

Liberal Paper Official Charged With Embezzlement
Medford Allen Branch, circulation manager of the Southwest Daily Times, waived preliminary hearing and is held on 1000 dollar bond on charges of embezzling over 10000 dollars.
